Here are some examples of how you can make a quote:

1. Consider looking at your quote in the context of the next few sentences in the current sentence.

The contextual attitude (referring to the next sentence) is one of these important characteristics. Please use it in your quotes.

2. Compare something analogous to your quotation other than your own quotations. While the effect of the comparison may be negligible, it is nonetheless helpful if you do. Try to identify the similarities and differences in one’s quotitions other than one’t own quotes (when possible).

3. Look at the time period (within a few paragraphs) in which your quoting occurred. The key word here is "analogous" - like in the sentence "The past was the mirror image of the future" (for example).

4. Consult your knowledge of language used in your previous quotable. The language used is definitely the key part of the quote.

5. Write down your overall thought about the quotability of your quoted words. Take a look at your previous piece of quoting to make sure you are all in it.
