That leaves two very strong options for the Rock, who have the rare talent to play with a deeper and more talented roster.
The one exception to that seemingly stereotype is Shaun Livingston who, in the worst possible case of the injury, could play the game and move forward into Coach Blake’s system. Livingstone plays point guard but can also guard, and in a system like Blake needs one capable of both guarding and scoring, Livington could be a blessing for the team as he has the athleticism and defensive acumen to break down opposing bigs and give Lance Stephenson and Russell Westbrook more room. The trade deadline has lengthened the Rock’s lockout season so there is a considerable chance that both Paul George and John Henson could enter the locker room to play.
